If Cloud Sync is OFF

Backup Sketches to your device

All the video steps described below: 

Open "files" app to your device.

1 / Tap “On my device" location

2 / Open Sketches folder.

3 / Select the Sketches folders you want to backup. 

4 / Tap on “Move"

5 / In “On my device” location, create a new folder “Sketches backup" to move your selection. 

6 / Move your selected folders.

7 / Here is your Sketches backup folder.

You can now delete Sketches app without losing your drawings.
After reinstalling the App, you can make the whole process in reverse and put back your folders into Sketches.

Backup Sketches to your iCloud Drive

1 / Open "files" app to your device.

2 / Tap “On my iPad" location

3 / Open Sketches folder.

4 / Select the Sketches folders you want to backup.

6 / In “iCloud Drive”, create a new folder (6) “Sketches backup” to move your selection.

8 /Copy your selected folders to this new “Sketches backup” folder. (8)

After reinstalling the application and logging into your iCloud account on your new device,
you can now do the whole process in reverse and put your folders back into Sketches.

Backup Sketches to your computer

Connect your device to a computer

1 / In Finder, select your device. 

2 / Clic on “Files” tab.

3 / In “Files” tab, look for Sketches App

4 / On your computer, choose an existing folder or create a new one to backup your drawings

6 / Drag your Sketches folders form your device to your target folder
